I haven’t really visited my Tumblr in years so I’m sorry that my comeback is just me posting vague sad shit but this is the only place where people that know me irl don’t follow me so I’m using it to vent

Nothing hurts like the heartbreak of missing someone that’s still in your life, but has changed so much they no longer are the person you once knew

im-not-a-real-hero:

So I have an idea for how a Hawkeye TV series could go.

Imagine this, after endgame Clint dies a heroic death along with many of the other avengers. After this the first Young Avengers movie or first season of the TV show happens and Kate takes on the Hawkeye mantle and stuff happens like in the comics. Then on the second Young Avengers movie or second season a masked Hawkeye appears and everyone thinks it might be Clint but later on its revealed to be Barney Barton (played by Nyle di Marco). Except unlike in the comics where he’s a shit character here he’s rewritten to be Clints estranged deaf younger brother, and basically has comics Clint backstory. Hell instead of being Barney he can be like a new character called Francis Barton. And he does what Clint does in the comics and challenges Kate for her bow bc its his brother’s legacy or something so he deserves it more and he wins. Then there’s the scene of Kate and Tommy’s date where they steal the bow back and he later on bonds with Kate over what beig Hawkeye means to them.

After the young avengers TV show or movie trilogy ends, the Hawkeye TV show would come out. It follows Barney/Francis Barton who owns an apartment complex he got from the mob while he tries to live up to his brothers shadow, coming to terms with his death and their damaged relationship. It also follows Kate Bishop who’s dealing with being on her own, becoming estranged from her toxic family and coming to terms with the young avengers disbanding and the people they lost. Both of them are trying to honor the hawkeye legacy while growing as persons. They also have a siblings dynamic and obviously Lucky the pizza dog is an important character.

I’m quite on the edge about the hawkeye show news so I’m bringing this back to reminisce about what could have been
